Mary Murphy
(née Doyle)

The death has occurred of Mary Murphy (nee Doyle), Rathwire, Killucan and formerly of Macetown, Cloughan, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath on the 28th January 2026, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by her parents Colm and Bridie, her brother Joseph, uncle John Farrell and brother-in-law John McGuane. Loving wife of Martin. Mary will be sadly missed by her husband, sisters Bridget (Godwin) (Tuam), Anne Doyle (Macetown), Geraldine McGuane (Killucan), Josephine Conneally (New York), Frank Doyle (Galway) and Marcella Doyle (Dallas, Texas), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Mary's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan (eircode N91VF51) this Thursday evening from 4pm followed by prayers at 6pm. Mary's Funeral Mass takes place in the Church of the Assumption, Taughmon on Friday morning at 11am followed by burial in Delvin Cemetery.
