Mary Murray
(née Blakeley)

Mary passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 16 July with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy and by her parents Edward and Margaret Blakeley and sister Judy (England).

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving sons Jimmy, Eddie and Tommy, daughters Marion Kilkenny, Martina Walsh, Barbara Morrissey and Noreena Morrissey. Fondly remembered with great love and affection by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, the extended Murray and Blakeley family, good neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Sunday, July, 20 2025 Mary will Repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Monday, July 21 2025 Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary at St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road on arrival at 11 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Jimmy in Rahoon cemetery. Link for live streaming below.

 

House private please. Family flowers only Donations if desired to the Stroke Unit, Galway University Hospital.
