The death has occurred of
Mary Noreen O'Brien
O’Brien (Bantry and Reenmeen Woods, Glengarriff): On February 16th, 2024, Mary (retired SRN) passed peacefully in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Bantry General Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen, dear sister of Tim (California), Cormac, Michael, Catherine, Patricia and Nora (Widger) Waterford, sister-in-law of Janice (California), Anne, Sheila and the late Jerry. Deeply regretted by her loving family, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and all her very good friends in the nursing and medical profession.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing in Coakleys Funeral Home Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday Feb. 18th from 5pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, Feb. 19th, at 12noon in St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
