(St. James Crescent, Mervue and formerly Turloughmore). 

Mary died peacefully on Saturday,  11th September with her loving family by her side at U.H.G.  Dearly loved wife of the late Pat who died very sadly also this week on Thursday, 9th September, 2021.  Both  funerals will take place together.

Much loved mother of Denis, Tony, Martin, Jacqueline, Joe Higgins, Margaret Healy and the late Patrick. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her children and their partners, brother Martin Higgins, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing alongside her late husband Pat at their daughter Jacqueline’s home at Cahergowan, Claregalway (H91 PDC6) on Sunday, 12th September from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Removal on Monday, 13th September to the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue.  Requiem Mass for both Mary and Pat will be celebrated at 12 noon and following Mass they will be interred together in the new cemetery, Bohermore. 

While the size of the congregation in the church and at the family home has increased, we are still mindful of  spreading Covid-19.  It will be possible to participate in the liturgy by tuning in to the Parish Webcam  https://mervueparish.ie/.
