Mary O’ Mahony (née Stewart), Coole West, Athea, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully, at home on Good Friday 3rd April 2026, with her family by her side after a short illness.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband James (Jim) and sister-in-law Bridge.

 

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted children, James, Jane, Thomas and Margaret, daughters-in-law Liz and Sophie, son-in-law, Kevin, her adored grandchildren, Cameron, Amy, Ciaran, Jamie, Clodagh, Cian and Finn, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Easter Sunday, 5th April from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea on Monday 6th April 2026 at 12.pm.

Interment afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Athea.

Family flowers only please.
