Mary O'Brien
(née Downey)
O’Brien (Laureston Lawn, Tower, Blarney and late of McCurtain Hill, Clonakilty): on June 30th 2025, peacefully at Cork University Hospital. MARY (nee Downey) (formerly Urban Council Offices, Clonakilty), beloved wife of Garry and much loved mother of Seán, daughter of the late Seán and Kitty. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, son, brother Mike, sister-in-law Terrie, nephews Eoin and Eamonn, Seán’s partner Shannon, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
