Mary O'Brien (née Sheehan) Raithin Cuilinn, Gorey, Co. Wexford and formerly of Ballynestragh, Gorey. Died 8th December 2025 peacefully at Gorey District Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Thomas and loving mother of Matthew, Maria, James, Daniel and Cora. Daughter of Alice and the late Bill and sister of Beatrix, Pat, Bridget, Peter, Margaret, Fidelma and the late John. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughters, mother, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many close friends.

Mary will be reposing at Floods Funeral Home, McDermott Street, Gorey (eircode Y25E8D4) on Thursday (11th December) from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal will take place on Friday (12th December) at 11.30am to St. Michael's Church, Gorey for Funeral Mass at 12.00noon. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery, Gorey. Donations if desired to The Friends of Gorey District Hospital.
