Mary passed away peacefully on 11th December 2024 in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at St. Catherine's Nursing Home. Pre-deceased by her husband Batt and daughter-in-law Helen. Deeply regretted by her sons Tom (Duagh), Paddy (Abbeyfeale), Mike (Abbeyfeale), Jimmy (Abbeyfeale), and Batt (Rooska), daughters Catherine (Kilmeedy), Joan (Abbeyfeale), and Mary Ellen (Ballyhahill), sister Kathleen O'Shea, sister-in-law Mary Doody, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Friday, 13th December, from 6 pm with removal at 7:30 pm to Carrigkerry Church. Requiem Mass is on Saturday at 11:30am with burial afterwards in Ardagh Cemetery.
