Mary O'Donoghue
(née McSweeney)

O'Donoghue (Banteer and Ballyvourney); On July 22nd 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at home in Banteer West, Mary (nee McSweeney, Ballyvourney), former teacher at St Brendan's College, Killarney, beloved wife of Liam and dear mother of Siobhán, Eileen, Pádraig and Máire, daughter of Ned and the late Eileen, sister of Anne, Sinéad and Michael.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband, family, sons in law Anthony (McHugh), Cathal (Burke), Aunts Maureen (Dromey), Síle (Quill), sisters in law Eileen (Deady), Breeda (Delanty), Esther (O'Leary), Orla (McSweeney), brothers in law Tommy, Finbarr, John (O'Donoghue), Mickey (Lynch) and Gordon (Lucey), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home, Banteer on Thursday (July 25th) from 6pm followed by prayers at 7.30pm. Reception into St Fursey's Church, Banteer on Friday July 26th for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live at http://www.churchservices.tv/banteer Burial afterwards in St Fursey's Cemetery.
