The death has occurred of Mary O’Neill (née Meeneghan) (Retired N.T., Finney, Achill and Knockroon N.S.), late of Killamonagh, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway, 16th April 2026, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Stella Maris Nursing Home, Cummer. Pre-deceased recently by her husband Tom, her son Dr Michael John, her parents Michael and Catherine and her brothers Tommie and Padraic.

Sadly missed by her son Kevin, daughter Caitriona, daughters-in-law Colette and Nicole, son-in-law Liam, grandchildren Nicole, Ryan and Sean, sister Kathleen, sister-in-law Freddie, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Mary’s Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Carey’s Funeral Home, Claran Road, Headford (H91 E6X9) on Sunday 19th April from 5pm with removal at 7pm to the Church of Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph Caherlistrane (H91 E4X6). Funeral Mass for Mary will take place on Monday 20th April at 12 noon, followed by burial in Donaghpatrick Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/caherlistrane.
