Mary O'Shaughnessy
(née Healy)

Mary passed away peacefully on Monday 11 August, 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Martin and much loved mother of sons Michael, Wesley and Mark and daughters Sonya and Audrey. Cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Martin, Emma, Shannon, Lee, Chelsea, Emily, Madison, Katie, Ella, Mark and Saoirse.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband, sons and daughters and their partners, brothers, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, the extended O'Shaughnessy and Healy family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral Arrangements

Wednesday, August 13, 2025 - Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue from 5.00 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. into the Church. Please note that the entrance to the Funeral Parlour is through the main Church. Wheelchair and assisted entrances are at the exit door at car park level.

Thursday, August 14, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary at 12 Noon. Private cremation to follow.
