O'Sullivan (Burgatia Road, Rosscarbery and late of Cappnaboha, Leap).

 

On Sunday 2nd March 2025, peacefully, at home in Burgatia Road, surrounded by her loving family. Mary Bridget, beloved wife of Michael (Mick) of 63 years, much-loved mother of Sheila, Eileen, Mary Jo, Margaret, Patricia (Padraigin), Michael, and Marcella.

 

Predeceased by her brothers Fr. Mick MSC, Florrie and David, sister-in-law Mary Teresa Crowley, brother-in-law John O'Sullivan and recently deceased godson Michael Crowley.

 

Mary Bridget will be fondly remembered by her loving husband and family, her children's spouses John O'Regan, Denis McSweeney, Frank O'Gorman, Ciaran Byrne, Danny Costello, Fiona McLaughlin and Ben Reading, her adored 20 grandchildren Sinead, Claire and Sean, Daniel and Aoife, Ciara, Laura and Orlagh, Fiona, Caoimhe and Cormac, James, Joseph and Michael, Martha, Enid and Tomás, David, Florence and Isabella-Bridget, her very special friend Marian Hayes, sister-in-law Eileen Crowley, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

Reposing at Daly's Funeral Home, North Square, Rosscarbery on Tuesday 4th March from 5pm to 8pm, with prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday 5th March at St. Fachtna's Parish Church, Rosscarbery at 2pm.

 

Mass can be live steamed using the following link https://corklivestream.com/funerals. Burial afterwards to St. Mary's Cemetery, Clonakilty.

The family would like to thank the Rosscarbery Primary Care Team and Rosscarbery Pharmacy for their great care and attention of Mary Bridget. The fantastic home-helps and carers who supported us in caring for Mam at home in her final years, and Canon Martin O'Driscoll who visited Mam day and night over recent weeks. We will be forever grateful.
