Mary Patricia Bennett
The death has occurred of Mary Patricia Bennett, late of 59 Main Street Blackrock and formerly of Newry, Co Down, on 11th July 2025.
Patricia passed peacefully at the age of 103 in the exceptional care of the wonderful team at Glengara Park Nursing Home with her dear friend Monica by her side.
Only daughter of Charles and Ellen Bennett (nee Cullen)
Patricia will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her cousins, members of the extended Bennett and Cullen families, God-daughter Monica, wide circle of friends, neighbours and former patrons of Bennetts Bakery.
A mass for the repose of her soul will take place in St. John The Baptist Church, Newtown Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin (A94 YP08) on Friday 18th July at 1000hrs, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chapel Street, Newry, Co Down, BT34 2DS.
Patricia’s family wish to extend their sincere gratitude to Noela and all the staff at Glengara Park Nursing Home.
