POWER (née O’Sullivan) , Bank Place, Castletownbere and formerly of Rossmacowen and Bere Island, Co.Cork on the 24th December 2023 peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in Castletownbere Community Hospital in the presence of her loving family, MARY.

Predeceased by her husband John, daughter Marian, daughter in law Delia and son in law Seán Mairtín.

Deeply mourned by her children Angela, Declan, Eileen, Johnny and Breda.

Mary will be sadly missed by her sons in law Noel, Brendan and Gerard, daughter in law Valerie, brother Albert, sister in law Mary, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth, brothers Donal, Jim, John, Joe Joe, Brendan and her sister Mary Ellen.

Reposing in Harrington's Funeral Home, Castletownbere, on Tuesday (26th) from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to Johnny’s home. HOUSE PRIVATE.

Requiem Mass will take place at 2pm on Wednesday (27th) in The Church of St. Bartholomew in Rossmacowen followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral cortège will leave Johnny’s home at approximately 1.30pm. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the link below.

Mary’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff in both Bantry General Hospital and Castletownbere Community Hospital for the excellent care and compassion they showed Mary and a special word of thanks to her incredible Home Help team for their kindness and support over the years.
