The death has occurred of Mary Power (nee Loftus) of London & formerly of Bridge St, Ballina, Co. Mayo. Peacefully in London, on the 7th January. Predeceased by her husband John Power (formerly of London, and Kilmeaden, Co Waterford) her parents Thomas and May Loftus (Bridge Street, Ballina), and brothers Tom, Frank and Seán Loftus.
Mary, beloved mother of Robert, Audrey and Michaela, mother-in-law to Birgit. Sadly missed by her son & daughters, cherished grandma to Abi, Ben and Tim, brothers Msgr Padraic Loftus (Los Angeles), Jim Loftus (Toronto), and Paul Loftus (Montreal), beloved sister-in-law to Elaine and Vivi; much-loved aunt to Fiona and Jess, Tom, Deborah and Kevin, and Mary-Lynne, and to Eamon, Emer, Ronan, Brona, Miriam and Lee, and all of their children; as well as cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.
REST IN PEACE
Reposing at McGowan’s funeral home, Ballina, on Tuesday evening from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.30am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery. Mary’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
