(née Geraghty)
Mary Pownall (née Geraghty), 50 Childers Hights, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cross Wallace West, Binghamstown, Belmullet and Gocham, Nottingham, England peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her family on 19th October 2023.
Predeceased by her husband Ernest and her siblings Pat, James, Annie, Peggy and Mattie.
Beloved mother of Philip (Nottingham, England), Martin (Ballina), Paul (Loughborough, Leicestershire, England) and Andrew (Ballina). She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughters in law, brothers John (Dundalk, Co. Louth) and Michael (Birmingham) and Kathleen Kelly (Banagher, Co. Offaly), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at her residence at 50 Childers Heights, Ballina (Eircode – F26 X9P7) on Friday evening from 7 o’clock until 10 o’clock and on Saturday from 12 noon until 9 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina, on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with funeral proceeding to Cross Cemetery, Binghamstown, Belmullet, arriving at 2.30pm.
