Mary Quinn (née Thornton), Leitrim Middle, Moyvane and formerly of Glenalappa, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Peacefully, on February 22nd, 2026, at her home in the loving care of her family. Beloved wife of the late Johnny Quinn and sister of the late Peggy O'Brien (Wicklow). Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Marie, Mike, John, Myles, Breda and Helen, daughters-in-law Sharon, Lena and Tracey, sons-in-law Peter, Seanie and Barry. Greatly loved by her cherished grandchildren Laura, Dylan, Shane, Peadar, Darragh, Áobha, Eoghan, Johnaton, Rian, Maria, Sarah, Mark, Johnny, Matthew, Sylvester and Fionn. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by her sister Bridie Bridgeman (Foynes), brother Myles Thornton (Roscommon), sister-in-law Julia Thornton, brother-in-law Dermot Bridgeman, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel on Wednesday evening (February 25th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Moyvane on Thursday morning at 10.45am, with the Requiem Mass for Mary being celebrated at 11.00am, live-streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/moyvane, followed by burial afterwards in Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane.
