The death has occurred of Mary Raftery(née McGovern), Valeview, Lissalway, Castlerea, County Roscommon, December 5th, 2021, peacefully at Fearna Manor Nursing Home, Castlerea.

Predeceased by her father John, mother Mary and brother John.

Sadly missed by her devoted husband Sean, children Patricia, Dermot, Enda, Sean, Padraig and Miriam(Purves), brothers Edward and Michael, sisters Patricia(Harrington) and Bernadette(McDermott),  grandchildren Aidan, Ailish, Brendan, Hugo, Isabel, Emma, Enda Jnr., Callum, Reuben, Louis and Aoife, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Mary will repose at her residence on Wednesday evening December 8th, 2021, from 4pm until 7pm(walk through only please).

There will be a oneway system in operation for traffic. 

Please follow directions given by attendants.

Entry to Valeview will be via the Curlis/Castlerea side of the village,

exiting at Lissalway/Rathmoyle side of the village.

Removal from her residence on Thursday morning December 9th, 2021 to St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray for Funeral Mass at 11am,

and will be livestreamed through

 followed by burial in Rathmoyle cemetery.
