The death has occurred of
Mary Redmond
REDMOND (Cork) On 16th February 2026, peacefully at 12.24am, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, MARY (nee O’Connor), late of St. Edna’s Road, Gurranabraher. Darling mother of Sonya and James and loving daughter of the late Helen and Dinny.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, daughter-in-law Linda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will take place at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Thursday (19th February) at 12 noon, followed by removal to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy with Service at 2.00pm. The family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care given to Mary by Dr. Kilmartin and his Team, thank you to the nurses, staff and catering staff of the Mercy University Hospital.
