New Road, Thomondgate, originally of Athlunkard Street and Assumpta Park, Limerick.

Peacefully, in the exceptional care of Cratloe Nursing Home, on 20th October 2025, in the presence of her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Vinnie, sons Pat and the recently deceased Kevin, and by six of her siblings.

Rita will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Marilyn and Susan, granddaughter Rachael, grandsons Jonathan, Kristian and Darragh, their partners, her great-grandchildren Chloe and Zach, sisters Kathleen and Margie, brother Joe, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, residents and staff of Cratloe Nursing Home and friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Wednesday, 22nd October from 7pm to 8pm. Arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street, on Thursday, 23rd October for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to Shannon Crematorium for 3pm Service.
