Mary (Rita) O'Connor
(née Kelleher)

O’Connor (Parklands, Commons Road and formerly of Dagenham, U.K.); on January 1st 2026, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Christopher’s Ward at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Mary (Rita) (née Kelleher); beloved wife of the late Jackie and loving mother of John, Mark, Neil, Jason and Diane (Irwin). Predeceased by her brothers John and Pat, and her sisters Noreen and the recently deceased Betty (Hawkins).

Sadly missed by her heartbroken sons and daughter, brothers Michael, Jerry and Noel, sister Ann, grandchildren, son-in-law Mark, daughters-in-law Lillian, Ann-Marie, Tracey and Ciara, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday 4th January 2026 from 5.00pm to 6.00pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 5th January at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
