Mary Ryan
(née O'Donovan)

Mary Ryan (née O’Donovan), Richmond, Glanmire, Co. Cork, and formerly of Hartlands Avenue, Cork, died peacefully on August 9th, 2025 in the presence of her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at CareChoice, Ballynoe.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, her daughters Deirdre, Rosarii, and Sheila, her son Peter, grandchildren Rian, Naoise, Ciar, Dara, Aaron, Scarlett, and Leon, sisters Patricia and Ann, and brother Noel, predeceased by her sister Eileen.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons-in-law Andrew and Andy, daughter-in-law Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her dedicated carers, Catherine Allen and Marianna Vajas, for their exceptional care and support at home, and to the team at CareChoice Ballynoe for their warmth, kindness and compassion. Their dedication went far beyond professional duty and we are forever grateful.

Mary will repose at her home (Eircode T45 K792) on Wednesday, August 13th, from 5.00pm.

Farewell service will take place at 3.00pm on Thursday(August 14th) at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co.Cork which can be viewed
