The death has occurred of
Mary Scannell
(née Biggane)
Mary Scannell (née Biggane), Glounreigh, Kiskeam and formerly of Knocktoosh, Broadford, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully on March 17th 2024 in the tender care of the staff of Araglen House Nursing Home Boherbue.
Reunited in heaven with her husband Joe, son Patrick, brother Billy and recently deceased sister Bridie. Mary will be deeply missed by her children Noreen (Leahy), Marie (Knee) and Donal and their partners Mossie, Cedric and Eileen, her devoted grandchildren Lisa, Rachel, Darragh, Ciara and Shannon, her little ray of sunshine her great-grandson Rian, her siblings Margaret, Jim, Patsy, Mike and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and her wide circle of friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Casey’s Funeral Home Kiskeam on Tuesday (March 19th) from 6pm to 8pm. Reception into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Kiskeam, on Wednesday (March 20th) for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the local cemetery. Mary’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed and may be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/kiskeam.
