Mary Scannell (née Quinn), New Street, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre on Wednesday, 11th February 2026, with her grandson Michael by her side.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael (Mike), parents Danny and Minnie, brother Tadhg.

Mary is very sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Elaine, sons John and Michael, son-in-law Pat Quinn, daughter-in-law Catherine, adored grandsons Michael, Cillian, Conor, Aidan and Dara, sister Lilly, brothers Paddy and Sean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended Scannell and Quinn families and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Friday 13th February from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated on Saturday 14th February in The Church of the Assumption Abbeyfeale at 11.00 a.m.

Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
