It is with deep sadness that we announce the sad passing of Mary Scully, Ballyanihan, Kildorrery, Co. Cork and formerly of Homeville Place, Western Road, Cork and Maughanasilly, Kealkil, Bantry, Co. Cork, who passed away peacefully on 1st November 2025 at her residence in the presence of her loving family.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Jerome (Jerry) and much-loved mother of Marie (Arnold, Kanturk) and Seán. Adored grandmother of Sinéad, Clodagh, and Pádraig. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Tom (Arnold), daughter-in-law Fiona (Boyle), step-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Sheila (Johnson) and Mary (Crowley), relatives, and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Lying in repose at Hannon’s Funeral Home, Kildorrery (P67 H971), on Monday, 3rd November, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Reception on Tuesday, 4th November, into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballindangan, for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, after which Mary will be laid to rest in Kildorrery Local Cemetery.
