The death has occurred of
Mary Sheahan
SHEAHAN (Kilcoe, Skibbereen): On February 16th 2026 peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Schull Community Hospital. MARY (MRCVS) (late of the Department of Agriculture) in her 103rd year.
Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Mary Clare Sheahan, her niece Frances Sheahan, nephews Chris, Ben and Tom Sheahan, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and by her caring neighbours and many friends.
At her request a Private Cremation will take place at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork at 4pm on Friday February 20th 2026.
A Memorial gathering will take place on Saturday April 11th, 2026 at 2.30pm in Saint Matthew's Parish Hall, Church Cross, Skibbereen, Co Cork. P81 TH29 to celebrate the life and friendships of Mary.
The family and friends wish to thank all the staff of Schull Community Hospital for the wonderful kindness and care shown to Mary.
