(née Hynes)

Mary Sheahan (née Hynes) of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Dalkey, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, in her 85th year, on Friday 23rd August, 2024, in the gentle care of the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit, St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife of Sean and mother of Hugh (Australia), Finbar (London) and Dara (Barcelona), sister of John, Patrick and the late Noelle, Michael and James. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughters-in-law, brothers, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday (Aug.27) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (Aug.28) at 10.00am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul.
