Mary SHEEHAN
(née Byrne)
Mary Sheehan (née Byrne) of 10 Kyleeshall, Raheendoran, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and her lifelong friend Mary Lawlor, on March 14th, 2025, under the exceptional care of The Barrow Ward, St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Mary is predeceased by her loving husband Paddy, parents Patrick and Hannah Byrne and her brother John.
She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken children, Marie, Trish, Mag, Deirdre, Patrick, Lilly, John and Damien, her cherished grand-daughters Chloe, Kelly-Ann, Lucy, Sophie, Amber, Grace, Emma, Megan, Matilda, Zoey and Layla, great-granddaughters Aria and Harper, great-grandson Ollie, son-in-law John Joe her children’s partners Aidan, Matthew, Carol, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, especially her best friend Mary Lawlor.
May Mary’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 2pm on Sunday March 16th, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Monday March 17th at 11am in St Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery
