MARY SHEEHAN (née Duignan) of Castleredmond, Midleton and late of Rock Street Cloyne. Died at home on July 14 th 2025, in the presence of her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late John, she is survived by her loving children Tomás, Simone, Bernadette, Celeste, Niamh, James and Veronica. She is the cherished grandmother ‘Mam-Mam’ to Liadh, Ciara, Dylan, Matthew, Oisin, Isabella, Max, Elanna, Kayla, Aaron and Finn and great grandmother to Barra, sister-in-law of the late Sr. Joseph Mary (Wales),

Mary will also be dearly missed by her sister Sheila, her brothers James and Mick, sister-in-law Sr. Ursula (Mallow), her daughters in law Niamh and Karen, sons-in-law Paul and the two Ians. She will also be missed by her nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Mary will be remembered for her sharp mind, quick wit, love of conversation and company and the strength and resilience which she displayed in her life. The world is a little dimmer without her presence. Her love will continue to shine brightly in all the lives she touched. She is loved deeply by her family.

 

The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Marymount Hospice & the Respiratory team in the C.U.H. for their compassionate care.

Reposing at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Thursday 17th from 6pm until Prayers at 730pm.

 

Reception into the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton for Requiem Mass on Friday 18th at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Mass will be available to view LIVE ONLY on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and on www.midletonparish.ie
