Mary Sheehan (née O’Shea) Carhan Rd, Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry passed away peacefully at Valentia Hospital on January 29th 2026.

Predeceased by her loving husband John and brother Bartley. Much loved mother of Cormac and Caoimhe and their respective spouses Rachel and Christian. Adored grandmother to Alicia and Chloe, Aidan, Alannah and Skylar. Deeply regretted by her brother Leo, sister-in-law Margot, family, neighbours and friends, especially her life-long friend Rita McLouglin (née O’Shea) and Mary Corcoran who took great care of her for many years.

May she rest in peace.

Waking in Daly's Funeral Home on Tuesday 3rd February from 5.30pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to the O' Connell Memorial Church, arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 4th February at 11am. Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mary's family would like to thank all the carers and staff at Valentia Hospital for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Mary during her residency over the last couple of years, and all the staff at the Cahersiveen Day Centre which she loved to attend.
