The death has occurred of Mary Smith Hammerton, nee Keleghan, Dublin, Co. Down and formerly Headford, Co. Galway.
Mary passed away peacefully following an illness bravely borne, in the wonderful care of the staff at Ulster Hospital Belfast.
Deeply mourned by her husband Stephen, sadly missed by her sons Stephen and Christopher, daughters in law Susan and Denise. Loving Nanny to Shana and Lily. Deeply missed by her sisters and brothers, brothers in law, sisters in law, neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Christy and her parents John and Mary.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday, 5th April 2024, at 12 noon in Newcastle, Co. Down Baptist Church. Cremation at Roselawn Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, direct to Marie Curie or Heart and Stroke N.I.
