Mary Smyth

The death has occurred of Mary Smyth, Mullaghmatt, Monaghan Town, on Thursday 27th February,peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Peter, son Maurice, parents James & Catherine Mc Crudden (Belgium Square).

Mary will be forever loved and cherished by her daughter Helen (Tim), sons Peader (Anne),Colin (Carol), her much loved grandchildren Vickie, Holly, Sandra (Stephen), Ciara (Eanna), Gavin and Gráinne, great-grandchildren Oisín and Odhrán, sister-in-laws, neighbours and many friends.

Mary will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Monaghan Town, (H18YF22) on Sunday the 2nd March from 4:30pm with concluding prayers at 7:30pm. Mary's Funeral procession will arrive to St Macartan's Cathedral on Monday (3rd) for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in St. Joseph's cemetery, Latlurcan. The family wish to express their gratitude to the staff of the A&E Department in Cavan General Hospital & The Stroke Unit for the exceptional care that was given to Mary while she was under their care and to her Home Support -Tarasis Healthcare and Home Instead for the wonderful care she received over this past year.
