The death has occurred of
Mary Somers
On May 6th, 2025, peacefully, after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of staff at Bantry General Hospital. MARY, beloved wife of Pat, dear mother of John, Anthony, Patrick and Caroline, loving nana to Dara, Cian, Odhrán, Liam, Patrick, Marko, Mia, Luka and Iva, sister of Noreen, John, Kevin, Finbarr, the late Timmy and Catherine. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her home, the Perrin Inn, Eircode: P75 P922 on Thursday May 8th, from 5pm to 8pm with rosary at 8pm. On Friday May 9th, her funeral cortege will leave her home at 9.45am to Sacred Heart Church, Glengarriff for Requiem Mass at 11am (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in Glengarriff Cemetery.
