Mary passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Walter and much loved mother of Dolores, Adrian, Paula, Damian and the recently deceased Peter.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters and sons, sister Helen, son-in-law Martin, grandchildren Josephine, Yvonne, Maureen, Claire, Eamonn and Síle, Sinéad and Tara and their mother Sylvia, Ciara and Ronan, great-grandchildren Una, Oisín and Cara.

Fondly remembered also with great love and affection by the extended Spelman and Galvin family, neighbours and friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral arrangements:

Sunday, 7 September, 2025 - Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Monday, 8 September, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary at St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road on arrival at 11.00 a.m.

Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Bohermore cemetery with her beloved husband Walter and son Peter.
