Mary Sweeney
(née Creaven)

Formerly of Cloonshecahill, New Inn, Ballinasloe. Mary passed peacefully on the 20th of November, 2022, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family following a short stay in the excellent care of the staff at the Galway Hospice. Predeceased by her daughter Pamela, mother Kathleen, father Bill Joe and baby brother Stephen. Mary will be sadly missed by her family, husband Tommy, sons Shane, Alan and Tomas, brothers Liam, John, Kerril, Joseph and Gabriel, sister Patricia (Skehill), daughters-in-law Amy, Annie and Elaine, grandchildren Joshua, Nathan, Holly, Cillian, Ally, Ellie and Liam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, carers and a large circle of friends.

Mary will repose at her home in Castlepark (N37 R7X8), on Tuesday, the 22nd of November, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to St. Michael's Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
