MARY TARPEY  (née Rooney) Sandfield, Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon. May 10th, 2022; (Unexpectedly but peacefully), at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Sean and much loved mother to Ethel, Helen and Jacqueline. She will be very sadly missed by her family, sons-in-law Flav, Niall and Sean, her adored grandchildren Harry, Cakie, Clodagh, Léana and Ryan, brothers Richard, Bernard and Martin, step-brother Ger, step-sister Frances, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends. Mary is predeceased by her beloved mother and father, Anna Mae and Joe, her brothers Sonny, Joe, Tony, Kevin, Des and Joe and by her aunts Angela and Gertie.

May Mary rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday evening from 7 o’c until 8.30 o’c (walk through only please). Removal on Friday morning leaving her home at 10.30 o’c to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery.
