Mary (Teresa) Gilligan (née Mc Donnell) Ardmullen, Kiltoom, Athlone, Co Roscommon on Saturday 14th September 2024. Peacefully, in her 97th year surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of all the staff of Roscommon Mayo Hospice.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband John, son Mal, brother Malachy and sister Kathleen (Connolly)

Mary will be sadly missed by her son Gerry (Australia), daughters Assumpta Downs (Galway) and Joan McNamara (Ardmullen); daughter-in-law Mary, sons-in-law Steven and Stuart, her adored grandchildren Sarah, Jessica, Ailbhe, Louise, Clíodhna and Kieran, great-grandchildren Liam and Evie, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at St Brigid’s Funeral Home, Brideswell, (Eircode N37 EK88) on Monday 16th September 2024 from 5-7pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday (17th September) at 11 o’clock in St. Brigid’s Church, Curraghboy, (N37 X348) with burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery.
