Mary Teresa McDonald
(née O'Doherty)
Mary Teresa McDonald (nee O’Doherty), Elsinore Heights, Midleton, formerly of Youngrove, Midleton and Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry, on August 13th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Youghal Community Hospital. Mary Teresa, beloved wife of the late Joe and much loved mother of Geraldine, Mary, Walter, Terence and Emer. Adored nana of Caoimhe, Niamh, Eolann, Ciarán, Luke, Belén, Louis, Sofia, Leon, Ben and Ali. Dear sister of Noreen Leahy and the late Donal, Paddy, Christy, Maurice and Eileen Alcock. Sister-in-law of Winnie and Maura O’Doherty and the late Billy Leahy, Bernie Alcock and Eily O’Doherty.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, sons-in-law Michael Shanahan, Pete Galligan and Alan Cahill, daughters-in-law Emilie Preel and Fuchsia Fishbourne, Emer’s partner James Cotter, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary Teresa will Repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton P25X382 on Friday (15 th) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Reception into Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday (16 th) for
11 a.m. Funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
