The death has occurred of
Mary Teresa MURPHY
Mary Teresa Murphy, Kilfree, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, 4th August 2021; Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital, following a short illness.
Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Mary-Kate.
Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Breege Torsney (Knocknacross, Riverstown), her nephew John, her niece Mary, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen, on Friday (6th August) from 5pm until 7pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, to arrive at 7:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 12:30pm with burial afterwards in Carrentemple Cemetery.
In line with current Government guidelines, Mary’s funeral will take place privately to family, neighbours and close friends only please. Funeral Mass on Saturday will be live-streamed via web cam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The North West Hospice Foundation, c/o Mahon & O’Dowd Funeral Directors.
