Mary Thomas
(née O'Leary)
On November 4th 2023, MARY, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Much loved wife of Paul, beloved daughter of the late Jack and Julia-May (O’Leary), dear sister of John, Kathleen (Harrington), Pat, Michael, Timmy, Jerry and Breda, sister-in-law of David, Paddy, Breda’s partner Mike (O’Sullivan) and the late Susanne. Sadly missed by her loving family, aunts Kathleen (Long) and Mary (O’Sullivan), adored godchildren Fiona (Harrington) and Mikey (O’Sullivan), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, kind neighbours, her work colleagues past and present, a wide circle of dear friends and her much loved dog Cola.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Friday, Nov. 10th, from 6.30pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, Nov. 11th, at 12noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Family fresh flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Rural Animal Welfare Resources, RAWR, Bridge Street, Town Lots, Bantry, Co. Cork
