Mary Thorpe
(née Goodwin)
Peacefully at her daughter Barbara's residence, Retreat Heights, Athlone, in her 91st year. Formerly of Bloomfield Drive, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Predeceased by her beloved husband James (Shay). Sadly missed by her loving daughters Rosemary and Barbara, sons-in-law Conor and Colin, grandchildren Shay, Leah and Conal, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and by adhering to government guidelines, a private funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mary, for family members and close friends only (max. 50 people) on Thursday at 10-30am in St. Mary's Church, followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery. Condolences and messages of sympathy may be left on the "Condolences" tab below. Any Mass cards may be sent by post.
