This morning, Thursday,9th of October 2025, at 06.58am our Mother Mary Tierney (née Smith),Derrynane Gardens,Sandymount and Sallynoggin, Dun Laoghaire, passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving children in the tender loving care of Kiltipper Woods Nursing Home. Mary is predeceased by her cherished husband Peter and daughter Sandra. Mary will be forever remembered and loved for her sense of loyalty, passion and fun, by her sons Joseph and Peter, daughters Catherine and Antoinette, grandchildren Andrew, Adam, Travis, Martin, Rhiannon, Sandra and Lily, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, sister Sarah, nieces, nephews, relatives, her many friends and neighbours. Family flowers only, donations if preferred to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland
May Mary rest in peace.
Reposing at Stafford's funeral home, 71 Upper George's Street, Dun Laoghaire on Monday, 13/10/2025 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday 14/10/2025 morning to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin, arriving for funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.

A special word of thanks to all the incredible staff at Kiltipper Woods Nursing Home for the loving care they gave Mary in the last 11 years.
