Mary Tighe

Mary Tighe, also known as Marie Nic an tSaoi of Hampstead, England and formerly of Dalkey, Co. Dublin died peacefully in the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead on Saturday 29th April, 2023 with Denise Brady by her side. For the last decade of Mary's life, Denise has ensured that Mary was aware that she was loved and that all her temporal needs were met with compassion. Mary is mourned by her sister Elizabeth, her first cousins Denise Brady and Mary Butler, and by other relatives and friends.

Mary's body was cremated at Kensal Green on 30th May and her ashes now reside in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. At any time between 2.00pm and 5.00pm on Thursday (5th October) it will be possible to spend quiet moments with Mary's ashes there. Mary will be buried privately with her parents' ashes in the family grave in St. Mochonog’s Cemetery, Kilmacanogue.
