The death has occurred of
Mary Twomey
(née Barry)
Twomey (Castlehaven): On August 2nd 2025, peacefully in the tender care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Cork University Hospital, and in the presence of her heart-broken family, Mary (née Barry) beloved wife of the late Mick, Scobawn, Castletownshend and loving mother of Marie, John, Siobhán, Stephen and Michael, grand-mother of the late Darren and Shona.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Monday, 4th August from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 5th at 12 noon in St. Barrahanes Church, Castlehaven. Funeral immediately afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery.
The Twomey family would like to thank their mothers homecare team who were so good and caring to her.
