Mary passed away in her 90th year, peacefully in the excellent care of Blarney Nursing Home on Monday, January 19th, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Tim, loving mother of Gerardine, Eilís, Bríd, Michael and Úna, adored grandmother of Susan, Liam, Ciara, Jamie, Garry, Alan, Brian and Emily, great-granddaughters Lola, Ruby and Lilly-Beth.

Dear sister of Bridgie and Eddie.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law William Lynch, Jim Noonan, Liam O’Connell and Jerry Clancy, sisters-in-law Joan Walsh and Katty Twomey, nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours and her many friends.

May Mary's gentle soul Rest in Peace

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T), on Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers and Reception into St. Michael the Archangel, Analeentha.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 2:00pm in Saint Lachteen's Church, Grenagh​, after which Mary will be laid to rest in the local Cemetery.

The Twomey family would like to express their sincere thanks to Brian O’Connor and all the staff at Blarney Nursing Home, Dr. Andy Lyne of the Tower Medical Center, all her carers through the years, for the exceptional attention and kindness shown to Mary.
