Mary Walsh

Mary died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday evening 4 July 2025 aged 92 .

Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mickey), daughter of the late Bert and May Larkin (Ramore) and sister of the late Terry, Carmel, John and Albert.

Deeply mourned by her children Liam, Bernadette (Renvyle), Sinéad (The Netherlands) and Niamh and by their families; sons-in-law Johnny Coyne and Gerard Mantel and Niamh’s partner Hugo Kelly, also mourned by her beloved grandchildren Ríona and Dara, Stefan, Aaron, Ronan and Shane. She will be deeply missed by her sister Angela, her brothers Pat and Noel and by the extended Walsh and Larkin family and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Mary will repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 4.30pm with Removal at 6.30pm to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Entrance/Parking/Street information below.

Tuesday, July 8, 2025
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary at 11am and following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband, Mickey, in Rahoon cemetery. Live streaming link for Mass: https://salthillparish.ie/
