Mary Walsh (née Carey), Drum, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Gladree, Belmullet, peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her loving family on the 28th February 2024. Predeceased by her husband Tony, brother Thomas Carey and his wife Mary, sister Margaret Forde and her husband Tom, sister Ann Conlon and brother in law Bobby Healy.

Beloved mother of Eugene (Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim), Noel (Drum, Belmullet), John (Gort, Co. Galway), Kevin (Sligo) and Ann Marie Logan (Buncrana, Co. Donegal). She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, long term carer Justyna, her daughters in law Teresa, Rose, Sheila and Karen, son in law John, grandchildren Caoimhe, Niall, Shane, Anthony, Peter, Sam, Conor, Cliona, Moya, Eimear and John, sisters Breege McShane (Dublin), Sadie Carey (Cork), Sheila Healy (Castlebar) and Kathleen Lynskey (Rathmorgan), brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, former school colleagues, kind neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at her residence (Eircode – F26 XW63) on Friday evening from 3pm until 9pm. Funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

House will remain private to family only on Saturday morning.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnells Funeral Directors Facebook page on Saturday afternoon at 1.30pm with all other funeral services available for viewing at 8pm on Saturday evening.
