Whelan, Mary (neé Banks), 1st of May 2025, (Ballyfermot and formerly of Meath Place, Meath St), peacefully at Connolly Hospital surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, brother Bernard and sister Angela. Mary will be very sadly missed by her loving children Maurice, Jacinta, Catherine, Sean, Louise, Martina and Gerard, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Mary will be reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Tuesday 6th May from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by a cremation service and a celebration of Mary’s life at Stafford’s Funeral Home at 12.45pm
