The death has occurred of
Mary Whelan
(née Kelly)
Mary Whelan MPSI (nee Kelly) Dublin Road and Main St, Longford and formerly of Bridge St., Westport, Co.Mayo, peacefully on the 29th December 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Predeceased by her husband Denny, her brother Hugh and by her parents P.F. and Nan Kelly.
Deeply regretted by her loving sister Kitty McDonnell, (Cavan) and her niece Carmel Kelly (Galway), nephews Hugo Kelly and his partner Niamh (Galway), Aidan Kelly and his wife Helen and grandnieces Ruth & Beth (Castlebar). Sadly missed by the Whelan, Kelly and Duffy extended families and her many close friends and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday 1st January from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 7.00pm . Mass of the Resurrection on Friday 2nd January in St.Mel’s Cathedral, Longford at 11.00am , interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
