Mary Whooley
WHOOLEY (The Orchard, Townshend Street, Skibbereen and late of Union Hall): On December 16th 2025, peacefully at Cork University Hospital. MARY (nee Collins) beloved wife of the late John D., much loved mother of Colin and Caroline, sister of the late Michael. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, son-in-law Hilary, daughter-in-law Aideen, grandchildren Johnny, Millie, Sadie and Lara, brothers Teddy, Curly, Donal, Martin and Jimmy, sisters Nora, Eileen, Sheila and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6pm followed by Prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12 noon in St. Comghall’s Church, Lisheen. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
